About Me
I took art to ‘O’ level 40 years ago – with little or no success until I did a piece of work on the theme of “Growth and Change”, the resulting work which I still have changed my life as I started to use the lines which are the basis of my art, I have painted and drawn since that time.
I did an art course at College alongside my ‘A’ levels and the art tutor was very encouraging, when I told him that I would be doing a history degree he responded that I would be a loss to the art world – words that have stayed with me – but which I never took seriously.
I recently found renewed energy having attended a course on painting in the open air and subsequently, exhibited works in a local gallery, which resulted in the sale of original works and prints.
